Passiflora incarnata Alba Supernova

Passiflora incarnata Alba Supernova, Native Vines - Brushwood Nursery, Clematis Specialists

Passiflora Supernova is offered in a full gallon size with free shipping! It is a striking, pure white form of the native Passion Flower found in the eastern United States. This selection has the largest flowers we've ever seen on this species! Vigorous in all locations, it can pop up around the garden from underground runners, and can produce hundreds of flowers and fruits. The fruit is edible - try it in a jam! Benefits greatly from a warm, sunny location in the northern reaches. Mostly herbaceous. For a successful performance each year, just clean up dead stems in winter and mulch for winter protection! Best planted in a location where the roots will not be soggy in winter. Selected by Ethan Nielsen.

PLEASE NOTE: This species should be planted when the soil is warm. We do not recommend early spring or fall planting.
