Clematis Debbie Marosi is offered in a full gallon size with free shipping! This pretty clematis was named for a friend, Debbie Fischer, the owner of Silver Star Vinery. Ton Hannink bred it as well as the original Clematis Debbie Fischer. Unfortunately, the only plants of Debbie Fischer were lost and it's not proper to name a new hybrid with one already named, even if it's surely lost. So, he gave the new one her maiden name; Debbie Marosi. At least, this is how the story was told to me. Sadly, Ton has passed away but at least we have another one of his many beautiful hybrids to offer you! Time will tell things like mature height, and we expect it may be hardy into zone 4.
